Professor Yu Xiong President Prof Yu Xiong, Associate Dean International and Chair Professor in Business Analytics at Surrey University, is also the Director of the newly established Surrey Academy for Blockchain and Metaverse Applications.

Professor Yu Xiong is a core team member of some major impact projects, he is the principal scientific advisor to the largest non-fintech blockchain application, Pixie, which has an interactive metaverse system with more than 20,000 daily

active users. He is also director of Maxity, which aims to help more than 40 charities across the globe to raise funding via NFT. He is also managing director of OxValue.ai, an Artificial Intelligence company, from the University of Oxford. Professor Xiong was also Chair of the London Fashion Fund, funded by the Office of the Mayor of London. Because of his contribution to innovation and globalization, he was selected by London Olympic Committee to be a 2012 Olympic Torchbearer.
