Magna Carta Signing Ceremony

Magna Carta Island Blockchain Forum (and UKIIC) welcomed their peers in a hugely successful event to celebrate the historical signing of the Magna Carta.

The event, attended by Member of the House of Lords, Baroness Uddin, featured talks

around Magna Carta Spirit and Technology Future. Brock pierce, founder of USDT (via video record), Amjad Sulemam, Chairman of Impetus Ventures and VP of Asia Business Council and other several entrepreneurs shared ideas and discussed themes including how technologies such as Al, Blockchain, Clean, Tech and Media can help society. Luke Sullivan, CEO and Co-Founder of Phoenix Community Capital joined a session panel of professionals who were quizzed in a Question Time-style exercise.

"Inspirational"

Baroness Udin said: "It was a real privilege to be part of the day and meet some truly

inspirational people. Our governmental role is instrumental in helping us understand the

challenges that Blockchain technologies bring.

"It's vital that our services are designed to meet the needs of our constituents, and that we are listening to and acting on what society has to say. Without the insight provided by UKIIC and events like today, we would simply be less able to deliver the support that is needed."
